(her thesis advisor) Dr. Peter Blaze Corcoran to organize the inaugural Rachel Carson Distinguished Lecture which would become an annual campus and community highlight, and to which she contributed for several years. Donna helped conceive and organize the first Terry Tempest Williams Student Dialogue about migrant worker issues in the region, as well as many special events related to the Earth Charter. Her affiliation with the Center allowed Donna to collaborate with some of the leading public intellectuals of our time, including Terry Tempest Williams, David Orr, Alison Hawthorne Deming, Barbara Kingsolver, and Mary Evelyn Tucker and Steven Rockefeller, an Earth Charter Commissioner. |

UQCNWhile residing in Montreal, Quebec, Donna served on the Board of Trustees of the Quebec chapter of the well-known International Union of Nature Conservation (IUCN).
